It’s part of the XR (“extra-range”) version of Zebra’s ultra-rugged 3600 series, meaning it is designed for long-distance barcode capture (both 1D & 2D) and tough operational environments.

Wireless (cordless) connectivity: uses Bluetooth (Class 1, v4.0 LE) so users can scan without being tethered to a cable.

Supports a wide set of barcode symbologies: 1D (Code39, Code128, GS1 DataBar, etc) and 2D (PDF417, DataMatrix, QR Code, Aztec, MicroQR, Chinese “Han Xin”, DotCode) plus Digimarc digital watermark scanning.
